From Secondhand To High Street : Weekday – Scandinavian Fashion Designers

Weekday started being a secondhand vintage store in Stockholm. The shop was located in a small street and had open on weekends. They had their big breakthrough when Örjan Andrson launched the first Cheap Monday tight jeans ( my favourite jeans ever), which turned out to be a immediate success. They teamed with H&M in 2008 and since that they expanded to Denmark, Norway, Finland and Germany. The brand will probably be expanding to other countries ion the future. The six brands comprising the weekday is Cheap monday, Weekday vintage, Weekday collaboration, Weekday storemade, MTWTFSS weekday and MTWTFSS weekday collection.  Every season the brand seeks out new talent or established designers. Such as Peter Jensen ( from Denmark) and Carin Wester ( from Sweden). Weekday is one of my favourite shops to buy clothes from, It’s always one of my top 10 shop to visit when I’m out shopping. They have so much great futuristic clothes that is the most comfortable clothes.
