Desert Flower

I have just watched this amazing film about a Somali named Waris Dirie, that runs away from an arranged marriage at the age of 13 and ends up on a long trip. She ends up on the fashion runways of London, Paris, and New York. She also becomes a UN special ambassador, speaking out about the traditions that harm women worldwide.
It´s a film based on a true story and it´s really a sad movie. It´s definently a film thats worth seeing and the main characther is played by a supermodel called liya kebede.
