I will admit, that this year I totally forgot all about the met gala, so when I saw photos of Rihanna and Kim Kardashian, with a hashtag that said met gala. I almost had a heart attack. Especially because I was in school and I felt like blogging about all the looks I saw, asap and couldn’t. But now I have seen all the gowns and found 8 amazing gowns that I really love.
I love Rosie Huntingtons look, she wore a Balmain dress that looks absolutely chic. The gold details up against the leather, can never go wrong. My gal Riri looked so cute but at the same time really chic and sexy. I love how she wore a gown but in a crop version and on top of that her hair was styled in a way that I have never seen her wear before. But I definitely like it. Her dress is by Stella Mccartney. Naomi wore a Givenchy dress in black and white. A really edgy and simple dress with so many layers and so much going on. This dress really suited her and definitely complimented her.
Kendall Jenner came in this beautiful tight gown wearing a simple beautiful necklace, with slick back hair. This dress was definitely a great option for her skin colour. Karolina Kurkova, Arizona Muse and Liu Wen are wearing gowns, that are a great example of how a REAL beautiful gowns should look like. Especially Karolina Kurkovas dress, with the prints is amazing. Breath taking.. Anne Heathaway fashion never fails when it comes to big events like these, she also wore a crop top like riri, just more simple with a straight look. Really chic with a open slid, reminds me of a pink look she wore once. I believe it was for the Oscars?
Do you know that feeling, when you expect some people to look absolutely gorgeous and they turn out to look really whack? I had that feeling a lot of times, especially with Kim K’s look. I might actually do a post of the worst gowns tomorrow.
