Beauty Talk – Make Up Always Looks Best With A Foundation Primer ?

I have seen and heard a lot about this primer that so many vloggers use. I’m beginning to wonder if I should try it, to see if it is true that it makes the foundation look better and last longer. In my head, I have this idea that it is really bad for the skin. Just the foundation itself  blocks the skin to breathe, so I think a primer will make the situation even worse. Smashbox has multiply primers and they really look like they do wonder. What do you guys think of primers? Do you use it and which product? Could really use some opinions.
