I love reading about upcoming designers from Scandinavia. They are such a big role model for us small believers in the fashion world and such a big inspiration. I found these two upcoming designers from Sweden, they are so talented and has an eye for edgy clothes.
Altewai.Saome are to girls that went from talking about starting a collection, to opening Stockholm fashion week in January 2012 which is major for new starters.
The two designers were studying in Milan, when they decided to move back to Sweden to start their brand. All their embroidered pieces are tailored or custom made, which they learned to make in school. Their teachers always encouraged them to experiment with fabrics, different materials and to add details to their collections which you can see a lot of in their collection . They always have the confident woman in mind that inspires them. Which makes sense, all of their pieces are really strong. They founded their brand in 2009 and has already in 2012 opened Stockholm fashion week in January.
